Meet the Team

David is a director of Ray Business Tax Advisor Pte Ltd. He graduated with a degree in the Bachelor of Accountancy from NTU in the year 2002. Life was a struggle back then as job prospects remained bleak, especially so when the world economy was reeling from the aftershocks of the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers in New York.

David started his career as an audit assistant after 6–8 months of unemployment. In the course of the next 10 years, David rotated amongst mid-tier CPA firms as well as one of the Big 4 accounting firms, gathering experience and exposure in the field of audit as well as corporate tax.

Reaching almost a decade in the accounting industry, David stepped out of the comforts of a salaried position to realise his dream to become his own boss — first co-partnering to form Ray Business Advisors, and in 2016 becoming a director of Ray Business Tax Advisor Pte Ltd, serving the financial needs of his clients.

As a businessman himself, David is able to understand and feel the shaky ground of businesses badly hit by the current climate. He offers expertise in linking clients to banks, applying for government-backed loans and Spring Singapore grants, and specialises in business analytics to study consumer patterns to help increase revenue.

Reva brings with her a decade of experience in education and leadership, shaped by a strong academic foundation and a passion for people development. She began her professional journey as a secondary school teacher in Singapore, where she taught English, History, and Humanities for 10 years. During her tenure in the classroom, Reva was known for her ability to inspire critical thinking, cultivate global awareness, and nurture confident communicators.

Her dedication to holistic education and student growth laid the groundwork for her transition into the corporate sector. In 2020, Reva moved into the private sector and currently heads the Corporate Secretarial function at Ray Business Tax Advisor Pte Ltd. In this capacity, she oversees corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and advisory matters, ensuring that clients receive meticulous and reliable corporate support.

Her experience in education, combined with her analytical training, allows her to approach complex regulatory frameworks with clarity, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility. Beyond her professional commitments, Reva is passionate about mastering the German language and continually expanding her cultural horizons — with Europe, the Middle East, and a journey on the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway high on her bucket list.
